Process was long, had a total of three interviews with one take home assignment. Made it to the final round and was told I would be kept on radar for a future position - never heard back.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Soho House & Co (Portland, OR)
Interview
Put me through two interviews, then asked for a proposal for the events I would plan and held a third interview to review my ideas. They then didn't hire me, or compensate me for the proposal, but I've seen them execute multiple ideas from my proposal following my interview.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Soho House & Co in May 2023
Interview
I was invited to the first interview 1 week after applying online. This went well, was more of an informal chat and show around, I was told I would hear back about the next steps in the next few days. I received an automated rejection email that was not personalised and gave no feedback. I was then called. by an HR representative a few days later offering a second in-person interview - saying they had made a mistake. We discussed timings on the phone and I was promised an email with further details, which I never received. The second interview was in person with two people. It was over an hour long, informal/friendly, and asked questions about my experience and a few scenarios that could occur. As I hadn't received any information about the interview, I was not as prepared as I could have been and was unaware that I needed to present new ideas and concepts. Luckily, I had already thought of a few so was able to share on the spot. I believe this interview went well and both interviewers were friendly and easy to talk to despite this. I was told a decision would be made quickly and I would hear in the next few days. Over a week had gone by and I had assumed I was unsuccessful. I had to call the HR representative and ask for an update. I was rushed off the phone and told that it had been offered to another candidate and I would receive feedback. I still have not received anything and having to chase them for an answer was quite upsetting and demotivating when they had no reason as to why. I had a positive interview experience in-person, but the administration behind was incredibly disappointing and gave the vibe that they do not care.
