I applied online. A very kind lady reached back to me and we set a phone interview for the next day with herself and the hiring manager. They were very candid and clear about the expectations of the position and the characteristics of the candidate that would win the job. The role is weekly travel and they made sure that is a lifestyle that I understand and would embrace.
They were forthcoming with the compensation and expectations of the role. The hiring manager made me feel very comfortable. They showed their interest and I reciprocated. They were ready to speed up the process because I was deep funnel with other opportunities. I actually accepted an offer from another company and had to make a tough phone call to let them know.
When I called to thank them both I was reminded that the door is open in the future as they grow. I actually referred them a former colleague and recommended AutoPoint highly to her.
I was told they had somewhat penciled me in for the position but certainly wished me the best. I told them that I'll still stop in and meet them in person should my other travels take me near SLC. AutoPoint seems like a progressive company and a great place to be.
