I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Solve(d) in Jun 2025
Interview
Met with 7 people of various titles in analytics. Everyone I met was very kind, however, it was evident that the culture was siloed and the analysts were the stereotypical "cave coders." The company is proud of their remote culture which may be a pro to many employees, but I was looking for a bit more opportunity to meet my coworkers and have a bit of an in person company culture. There is no travel for the job and it seemed the only in person opportunities were quarterly in person town halls. This in combination with the secluded nature of the anayst dept was not attractive to me.
In addition to all of this, the impending merger between IPG and Omnicom (though it has yet to pass through legal regulations) was a deterring factor to me. When I asked the team about their thoughts on how this may affect Solve(d) no one seemed to know, which made me uneasy about potential duplicative roles being eliminated.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Solve(d) in Aug 2024
Interview
Sweet people but they expected more work ex for minimal pay in New York.
I interviewed for the Data Scientist role at IPG Health (Solve(d)) across multiple rounds, focusing on my background, technical skills, and alignment with the role. In the first round with Jenn, I shared my experience, skills in Python and R, and interest in the role, though I felt I could have clarified my years of experience better. The second round with Anuj and Andi involved detailed discussions about my projects, metrics, modeling, dashboards, and tools, along with behavioral and role-specific questions. Both expressed interest in my technical expertise, though Andi emphasized healthcare and cloud experience. In the final round with Selamawit, we discussed tools, data types, career goals, and relocation to New York, but the focus seemed to shift toward domain-specific experience in healthcare.
