Applied , received an inquiry about salary expectations, phone interview with a recruiter, another phone interview with a manager, interviewed in person for two other positions, second interview/ job shadow with two managers for two different positions , spoke to the director, got a tour of the facility. I was advised to choose one position. I chose the best one career wise, references were checked, but I never got an update . I turned down two offers because they were giving me first pick on the job that I wanted. Communication cane to a halt. The recruiter responded after multiple attempts telling me that they were in meetings and had already made offers on the other two positions that I could have chosen, but for some reason we’re at a stand still on the one that I did. I would have never gotten an update if I had not persisted. Still yet, the update that I did receive was full of holes. I didn’t understand how I went from being able to choose between 3 different positions to no communication. I was really looking forward to working with them, but the sudden lack of communication/care about the impact of the lack of communication was bewildering. I was given a very bland excuse. If you want to go on 4+ interviews and never hear a response one way or the other, go for it.
