I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SouthCoast Health in May 2024
Interview
I scheduled an interview at a job fair and despite scheduling a slot I waited a considerable amount of time and there was no actual interview. The team leader of ED Techs walked around with myself and another person, no interview or basic conversation happened at all. Despite this I agreed to shadow and spent 2 hours at the ED without compensation. I tried reaching out to the team leader who arranged this for 10 days and never heard back until today when I called for the 3rd time. She was rude, dismissive and informed me it’s not her job to reach out. It is disrespectful and unprofessional to not provide ANY information about follow up, not return emails or voicemails and then treat that person poorly as though they should have somehow known the process. Definitely will not be applying to anymore jobs with this health system.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The team leader of ED Tech/clerical was supposed to conduct an interview, but instead walked around with myself and another person scheduled to interview. No questions were asked and there wasn’t an opportunity to have a conversation 1 on 1. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at SouthCoast Health
Interview
very simple they asked the basic interview questions, it was a breeze, you should know how to deal with patients and the proper protocol for this position. I would recommend this job to you guys, everyone is friendly, and you'll meet a lot of new people
