The first step was a phone call with the recruiter who was amazing and excited about SpaceX/Starlinks mission. The next step steps were a hiring manager phone screen and then an additional phone screen with a member of the team. The interview process was highly one sided. I was invited onsite for the final rounds of interviews and dismissed after a one hour presentation. Strangely, two of the panelists who did not discuss how we would interact in the role became defensive, condescending, and rude about half way through the interview. I do not believe the hiring manager asked a single question during the presentation. The two panelists mentioned asked questions that were explicitly highlighted and addressed in the presentation in a rude manner, in my opinion. I could only rate this experience as highly negative, disrespectful, and generally unprofessional. This is my opinion that I will not consider a position at SpaceX/Starlink/Tesla/or X again in my career.
