There was no former interview process. In order to apply, you have to have a principal recommend you. Once the principal recommends you, the paperwork starts and then you'll be able to select a school, call a number or view available positions.

I applied and submitted a resume. I was emailed about a class date and I got the required information and took it to the class. There was two classes to take; one was us watching about sexual abuse and the other was us learning different skills. We got a workbook and it was more of a workshop with other substitutes. We got into groups and did a mini presentation and if our names and fingerprints were cleared, we could start working the next day.
