Very unprofessional, my application was under review for nearly a year. I came to withdraw my application and when I did, I received an email saying that my application was not selected. This questioned the transparency of the process in my opinion.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Stantec (Calgary, AB) in Jan 2022
Interview
Applied online and recruiter reached out to me after 2 weeks to know my availability for an in-person interview. I was hoping it to be a very formal interview because Stantec has a big name and prepared well for it. But it ended up being very informal. The hiring managers (2 team leads) did not even know what to ask. They went over my resume a bit and after that kept asking me if I had anything more to say. It was very open ended.
They both were very nice and interview was fairly easy but in my opinion it could have been structured even better.
