I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Starworks Group (Los Angeles, CA) in Sept 2019
Interview
Set up an email thread and picked a time to come meet within the following week. Easy to get to and they were very helpful with parking and whatnot. I met with 2 girls who were moving up and needed someone to come in below them. They were super cool and easy to talk to which helped. I didn't feel belittled or judged by them. They genuinely cared about someone who worked hard and wanted to be there. The office is super cool and modern. I would have loved to work there but it was little pay for what seemed like I would be working more than 40 hours a week with a lot of last minutes plans and or complications that would arise.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How well do you work in a fast paced environment that involves problem solving on the spot?

Interview
I applied with my resume and cover letter, then had a phone/video interview with HR to discuss qualifications. When I received the job offer, it outlined salary, benefits, and start date. It was a culmination of my effort and readiness for the role.

Question 1
During the interview, the interviewer posed several fundamental questions, probing into my background and qualifications.

Interview
I arrived at the office, where no one appeared to be around. I took a seat and waited until I finally saw someone shuffle through, so I let her know I was there and the name of the agent I was waiting for. It was another 10 minutes or so before the agent showed up (and I was on time). She was unprepared and didn't appear to have read my resume in advance. So I had the awkward experience of trying to talk to her while she read my resume. Everything I said was met with "uh-huh," and no eye contact, which really made me feel great about missing work to come to this interview. And after I was done introducing myself and answering maybe one or two simple, superficial questions, she simply asked whether I had questions for her. I did have a few, but the main one I wanted to ask was, "Why are you wasting my time?" If you don't have the courtesy to prepare for an interview, or the empathy to understand that you may be asking someone to skip out on work or other obligations, you don't deserve to have top-notch, hard-working people on your staff. I feel grateful to have dodged a bullet with this place.
