I submitted my resume online and got a quick call. The call was a preliminary phone call was like a brief interview with basic questions, like am I still interested, etc. Then I was invited for an in-person interview. The interview was tough. It was with the HR Manager, and the owner, because at the time they did not have a Director or Exec. Director (red flag: there is high turnover here!). It was a 2 hour interview. I was asked to drive to their corporate office in Mesa to interview. I was only given 1 days' notice. I took it because it is a job that paid well. If you have a graduate degree and interview strongly, you can absolutely command the highest pay they offer for the position. They ask in depth questions and if you are confident, you will do well. If you are hired, they will make you do a drug test and you must have or qualify to have a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card. You will also need to have a clean driving record for the past 39 months. I did not know this at the time, but they only reimburse you for 36 cents a mile. They make all employees go through the 6 hr per week x 10 week training that all foster parents go through. It is good, but not necessary to do the job. They will allow you to flex your time so you never go over 40 hrs per week because they ddo not like to pay overtime.
