I applied online. I interviewed at Stillen (Costa Mesa, CA)
Interview
The interview process at STILLEN was relatively quick and straightforward, lasting about a total of a few weeks. I applied to the position online and was contacted by the SEO manager within the same week to schedule an interview at their office. When I arrived, the woman at the front desk handed me a standard form/application to fill out before my interview. Afterward, I met with both the SEO manager and the head of the marketing department. We discussed my previous work history, education, and personal life, including my passion for the aftermarket automotive scene. The head of the marketing department left halfway through the interview to attend to another matter, leaving the second half of the interview as a one-on-one meeting with the SEO manager (who would ultimately be my direct superior for the position). Both were extremely friendly and professional and I felt relatively at ease throughout the whole process. The interview ultimately lasted about 20-25 minutes. In the end, it seemed as though both parties left with a very positive feeling about our meeting. Later the next week, I received an email from the SEO manager offering me the position. From there, we worked out the details of my employment - including my work hours and start time - through further email correspondence.
