      Dairy Clerk Interview

      16 Jun 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Brooklyn, NY
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Stop & Shop (Brooklyn, NY) in Mar 2014

      Interview

The interview process was fairly easy. I was called for an interview within a week of applying online. They had just remodeled the store so the experience was comfortable for me. My interview took approximately 1hour, the store is always busy which is good thing< which always means more hours for employees. The person that interviewing wanted to make sure i was knew about the grocery business which i did, as i currently work at another major supermarket for about 12 years now, so i was well prepared. I met the store manager, my dept manager and another assistant store manager whom were very nice to talk to. I was treated with respect which is all what i could have asked for.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The most difficult question i was asked was if i knew how to operate the electric jacks/forklift

      Dairy Clerk Interview

      16 Nov 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Narragansett, RI
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Stop & Shop (Narragansett, RI) in Nov 2014

      Interview

Applied online and received a phone call from customer service manager within 15 minutes. Interviewed with hiring manager later that day lasted maybe 10 minutes he asked me very basic customer service questions- "Can you give me an example of how you would go above and beyond to help someone out?" We then went over what times I would be available to work. He said they had more interviews to conduct that day and they would call me tomorrow. The next day I received a call for a 2nd interview, at this one I basically gave them permission to preform a background check on me...again no offer just said they had more 2nd interviews to conduct. The next day they called and offered me the position, came in that same day to fill out paperwork and started working the next day.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

None really considering I previously worked at a grocery store so I had plenty of customer service experience.
