I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Storylines (Philadelphia, PA) in Mar 2023
Interview
There were Two zoom interviews and then I was sent an assessment. This was to test my personality and my aptitude. The first interview was with the recruiter and the second with the hiring manager.

I interviewed at Storylines (Laguna Niguel, CA) in Mar 2023
Interview
Applied on Indeed. Position was reposted several times weekly after. I was contacted by their recruiter based in Phillipines via email with a series of pre-screen questions then a few days later an video interview was scheduled. Then was informed 15 minutes before the interview that the position was put on hold. Very inconsiderate. Don't waste your time.

Question 1
Before we proceed with your application we have a couple of pre-interview questions. What is your expected hourly rate for this role? (in USD) English Proficiency? When are you available to start? How many years of experience do you have in this role? Are you willing to work in a hybrid remote set up? Enter important links for your portfolio, website, LinkedIn profile, etc.
The interview had the typical pre-prepared questions you can expect. The first thing the interviewer mentioned, however, is that this job is a contracted 1099 position. This would save a lot of time for candidates not looking for this type of work if it was mentioned in the job description. The interview took the allotted time, and the interviewer mentioned a small assessment portion to do afterward. This included answering questions, on video, while being timed. Some of the questions were the same as the ones in the interview, which was also recorded. This seemed redundant and took an extra hour of my time after the 30-minute recruiter video interview. Afterward, I did not receive any response from my interviewer or the company. I had to reach out a couple of times to get an update and to ensure they received my completed "assessments". Overall. the interview went okay and was very standard. However, the time investment required from candidates could be greatly reduced during the preliminary screening process by holding off on assessments until hiring managers have reviewed interview notes as well as reducing repeated questions.
