I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Studio Urban Wax (Denver, CO) in Feb 2018
Interview
Asked about my experience, past jobs, how I would market myself. The owner and another esthetician did the interview.
He told me he takes care of the marketing all through social media, but their Facebook has 200 followers. Salary range they provided isn’t possible with that.
The other esthetician told me they had several employees quit at once and she was helping out at this location .
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Would I be willing to learn male Brazilian waxing?
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Studio Urban Wax (Greenwood Village, Arapahoe, CO) in Apr 2017
Interview
Awkward & uncomfortable. I felt like I was being interviewed by the police. I felt like I was being judged, and everything I was saying/ that was off my resume was not being taken seriously. The WORST PART was I applied for the ESTHETICIAN POSITION and when I go in he tells me I am being interviewed for the front desk and that was the position I applied for. That is a LIE. They are advertising on craigslist for an esthetician and they are lying. Now I see why everyone has left such awful reviews. I left the interview feeling like crap about myself thanks to them. Two people were interviewing me at the same time. It was so uncomfortable. If I was interviewing for "front desk" why should there be two people at the same time interviewing for that position?
