Easy process. Overall easy going job but low pay and can be busy at times. Created great friendships with the boss and a few co workers since most of the time there was only two people there
I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Subway (Ottawa, ON) in Apr 2014
Interview
I met my employer in front of the restaurant, we were located in a mall. And she asked me a few questions concerning my work experience and if I was still in school or not. Once she had her information about my experience she went to ask me about my personal life, and i happily told her. Which then she asked me to watch her things for a few seconds, and when she returned she was thrilled to see I was still there. After the interview we chatted a little longer about non-work related things, and by the end of our conversation I was hired.
I interviewed at Subway (Barnsley, South West England, England)
Interview
I was sat down and asked questions about myself in a possible manner in the middle of the restaurant as people dined around me. I was then instructed to cut bread so they could see how well I could do.
Easy flow, face to face and they are quite patient with you. The manager are understanding if it's your first time and let you through the flow of the process
