I was directly contacted by the hiring manager and walked through their design process and collaboration style. Everything felt very informal and non-hierarchical, which I really liked. After that, I received a follow-up asking for my salary expectations, and that’s where the interview process paused.

Detailed conversation with the hiring manager, going over background, current work, interests, specialties, and what I’m looking for in my next role. Very standard interview. Next step was chatting with the CEO.
