The interview process was extremely un professional. I believe it was the chief people and legal officer who I spoke with. He was about 16 minutes late for our interview. While I understand that he was busy, he started off by asking about my super power and why, but also proceeded to tell me how he was busy and didn't want to waste time. He also tried to get me to say what my work set up was and the minute I said that I was remote he said he didn't want to waste time and that wouldn't work for him. I kindly told him i was flexible. The job was advertised as hybrid but he proceeded to tell me that it would only be 1 day remote. He would occasionally stick his hand up to stop me from talking and continued to say how he didn't want to waste time. I have been in the HR field for a long time and have experience with talent acquisition and I would never treat my candidates this way. I do not recommend this company based on this interaction. I felt disrespected the entire time, especially since I took the time to practice for this interview, had my notes available and ready, dressed appropriately and patiently waited for the interviewer to appear on time. Hopefully they have a person in this position that has good interview tactics and can treat candidates with respect.
