I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Suncorp Group (Melbourne) in Sept 2014
Interview
I was lucky enough for a phone interview as it was internal. It was very simple, easy and casual. My leader was very supportive and helped move the process along.
I applied through other source. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Suncorp Group (Brisbane) in Dec 2016
Interview
Lengthy and misleading. I have never had a job that was never intended for me, given to me and then taken away only to be placed where they originally wanting me. Only to never receive an email regarding it and then to be told it had been filled, despite never seeing the that 2nd interview process.
1 interview and 4 phone interviews and countless emails. I would of preferred to be told that i wasnt what they were looking for after the interview instead of being mislead over the course of weeks that they wanted me, only to submit everything set everything up to move, and then be told they gave it to someone internally. Absolute joke, and very misleading, long and lengthy process for an entry level job, stupid managerial set up, 1 of 2 interviewers couldn't even be bothered to the interview despite walking in, then ducking out for lunch when she saw the time. Literally felt like they kept me around for their own means jussst in case they needed me and once they knew they didn't then kicked me to the curb, and let me apply for other places
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Suncorp Group
Interview
Phone interview, which is the followed by online assessment and then Group interview. Group interview is 3 hours or so with a bunch of other people, then you hear back from the company within a few days via e mail or a call if you aren't hired. They have a lot of feedback for you, and are concerned that you consider not only if you are good for the role, but whether you think they are a good fit for you
