      Entry Level Marketing/Management Trainee Interview

      14 May 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Bethesda, MD
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Superior, Inc. (Bethesda, MD)

      Interview

The interview process was professional and simple. I was called by a very energetic and friendly admin. She qualified me on the phone to make sure I was interested in face to face marketing and made sure I was also willing to start entry level but the main position they wanted to fill was upper level management. They work with 2 major retailers Home Depot and Verizon which impressed me from the start. She stated they only promote the management role from within due to the high standard and requirements that need to be met by their clients. When I arrived at the office it was very clean and professional with a beautiful entry way and office space . The office had the look and feel of a high end marketing firm! They have recently moved into the larger space. The CEO was very professional and she explained that she meets personally with all candidates face to face to make sure she can qualify them and explain in details the clients and their marketing philosophy and why they are hiring as well as the hours to make sure it was best fit for me as well. I was impressed she takes time out of her day to meet with all the first rounds. Interview was about 15-20 min. She let me know if chosen for a 2nd interview I would meet with an account executive who would explain more details and answer questions and also explain pay. I was chosen for the second round and a very professional guy interviewed me and went over all the positions in detail and answered a lot of my questions. The company is very team oriented and has high standards to perform well due to the demands of their Fortune 100 clients. The pay offered was definitely higher then what others have posted on this site. They also offer a lot of bonuses for performing well and other company paid business trips. In fact the interviewer had just returned from a leads shop conference he shared his experience with me which I thought showed how much he loved working their and how much the company cares about their employees success. He also let me know that they are set up to be mentored by other top performers on conference calls to help them achieve their goals. Overall I had a very good interview experience and was pleased when they offered me the position out of 50 applicants they screened during the interview process. The company culture is awesome and I can't wait to start!
