Sig asked some outside contractor to interview me. Unusual. The interviewing process was awkward and uncomfortable. The guy is like a CD player with strong accent. Literally I spent 5-10 minutes trying to understand the problem. I was interviewing with >10 tech companies and didn't see this. I felt that he was not prepared and in between questions he actually paused and looked for next question. Once he found one, he start to read out the question fast then silent.

First round HR person called me and ask about my thesis projects, but after second round interview, I decide to withdraw my application. The interviewer has no patience in clarifying questions and show no respect. After I correctly answered two simple probability questions, he asked me if I was using a computer to look for the answer. I was clearly insulted as I have been speaking to him to demonstrate my thought process, although he gave little feedback. I was applying for a quantitative research position, but they find an arrogant HR person to ask me probability questions. Very unpleasant interview process

First Interview: Talk about background with HR Second: Simple probability questions Third: Was told more probability questions, but got mostly programming syntax questions instead. Was told after the third interview they would contact me, but after I emailed them after a week, the informed me they had already moved on.
