Call with a recruiter, basic questions, just went over everything on my resume and why I thought SwagUp was a company to pursue.
Recruiter mentioned that work life balance isn't as balanced as "most people" would want and that they expect long days. Recruiter asked my expectations and salary. I told recruiter I would expect to be paid for my time. If you want me to work 40 hour weeks, this is my hourly rate. If you want me to work 60 hour weeks, my hourly rate doesn't change. Recruiter said, "this is a salaried position." I understood that.
Salary doesn't equal slave.
Conversation degraded from there. SwagUp used to be a goal company for me. I'm glad the recruiter cleared that up for me.
