Interview
There was no interview process. You contact the company and fill out a few applications. Then you have to sign up for Red Cross classes to obtain certifications. Overall the process is fairly simple. You have the option of paying for the class via first paycheck. In addition, you are required to pay for your lifeguard uniform, again you have the option of paying for everything yourself or having it come from your first paycheck.

Interview
Very basic process (for part time summer position). You sign up online for a training course with the American Red Cross then fill out an employee application (W4, I9). Upon completion of the training course you will be assigned a pool location and position (depending on experience - Manager, Assistant Manager, or Guard).
