I applied for an R&D Engineer role, but the job posting itself was actually describing a System Engineer position, so the title was misleading from the start. It felt almost like a lie detector interview, where answers were being questioned mainly to catch inconsistencies rather than to understand my experience. It made the whole experience quite uncomfortable. Afterwards, I expected personalized feedback, but instead received a generic automated rejection late in the evening from a company email. For a final-stage candidate, that’s a huge red flag.
