I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Team One Architects (Mumbai) in Apr 2025
Interview
I had one of the worst interview experiences with Teamone architects . Instead of a structured, professional discussion about my skills, experience, and fit for the role, the Finance Head spent most of the time trying to convince me to align with him and be his puppet rather than the directors. The focus was on personal agendas instead of relevant professional questions. This reflects poorly on the company’s culture and leadership approach. It left me with the impression that professionalism and employee growth are not priorities here
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Team One Architects (Mumbai) in Jan 2020
Interview
Good, organized schedule and timely managed throughout the day. HR was very cooperative and supported to cover the stages. Very understanding staff and very helpful for make me feel comfortable

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Team One Architects in Feb 2022
Interview
Simply horrible experience.
First of all they keep us waiting for 2 hours straight after confirming the scheduled timing twice beforehand. The future employees are then not welcomed in a positive manner. It is completely without etiquetts.
Suddenly they start asking facts and figures for projects before 10 years. If you are unfortunate enough not to have those on the tip of your tongue, be ready to be severely insulted and have doubts on your integrity, honesty and in short entire career. It seems more senior you are, more liable you are to be insulted.
Moreover, company’s employees can easily be thrashed even in front of an interviewee. This itself shows their impudent working culture.
It seemed like the entire wrath of the previous unknown and known happenings was focused upon me and the whole scenario was a tremendous tensed and awkward situation.
People may have miss interpretation from their flashy website which was big names as their clients. After reaching there, the ambiance feels really impressive. However you may be interviewed by someone who has nothing but arrogance. Belittling someone seems their daily business.
Their beliefs and principals on their website are full of sustainable architecture, Artificial intelligence, Data analytics and creating spaces that matter. And their vision is full of big words such as "an enabler for the spaces" and "sustainable in nature by virtue of Reuse, Recycle and Reduce"
But all this is inversely proportional to their perception of Architecture. According to them, Architecture is only about FSI and DC rules and designing an elevation is only placing windows in a building.
Overall an awful experience. I felt that the interview was like a grilling annual appraisal of an existing employee seeking promotion and not a new entrant.
