Applied in December 2018, received a phone call in February 2019 asking if I am still interested in the position. Invited to assessment centre following the phone call.
The assessment centre started with a brief introduction to the company and their policies. Followed by a presentation on one of the company’s projects where we were encouraged to ask questions and provide input surrounding the project (this is somewhat assessed so it is recommended to be inquisitive). A written exercise consisting of a technical question and to write a method statement. Then finally with a one-to-one interview discussing your written exercise and touching briefly on your CV and a number of competency type questions and what you know about the company and the industry.
