I applied online. I interviewed at Teltrium Solutions
Interview
First "round" was an info call about the HR processes, not a screening call. The second round was on-site, but it was clear no one had even looked at my resume prior to making the trip to their location. Upon showing up, I was told that I am not fit for this position and was not even asked relevant questions other than explaining my resume. Extremely unprofessional CEO would not even look at a resume prior to calling in interviewees. Make sure they actually looked at your CV prior to commuting. They offered me another role I was not interested in, potentially that is why they tried to get me in the building.
Met with CEO for one-on-one, was quite aggressive and pushed on many answers. Met with engineers for group interview, much more relaxed and just a resume review. Overall interview was okay.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Teltrium Solutions (Greenbelt, MD) in Sept 2024
Interview
Teams pre-screening with HR rep. She told me the CEO had picked my resume, and set up an interview she told me would be attended by other SWEs and the CEO. No other SWEs were present at the interview, just the CEO. It was also on Teams. The CEO did not seem to take me seriously, told me how he knew the industry was bad now (okay?), and about his son's remote business internship where he made sure to network (okay?). Asked for my definition of a NN, when I gave him a technical leaning definition, he said no, like what it does. When I made a very general statement (as there is so many kinds of NNs) he then gave me his which was frankly wrong, and seemed to imply I should've said what he said. He took no interest in my actual experience, not asking any questions when I told him of my projects. He seemed to want to trip me up, asking what I knew about orbital mechanics. Although I was a computer science major and this seemed irrelevant to my qualifications, I had done research with space physics so I said this. He mostly seemed annoyed I had an answer, and asked no follow up questions.
