I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Tesseract School (Paradise Valley, AZ) in Jan 2017
Interview
Mostly review of experience and certification. Interviewer didn't seem that interested, mostly talked about the school and the process for notifying and bringing in a substitute. I would not worry about preparing for an interview as substitute teacher at this entity.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Tesseract School (Paradise Valley, AZ) in May 2011
Interview
Was able to apply directly to the school. Received a phone call to set up a phone interview. The interview was group exchange with administration, teachers in my area of expertise. The phone interview led to flying out for a personal meet and greet. I was picked up at my hotel and driven to the school. I had lunch with the teachers and spoke with them about the mission. I taught three classes in succession at various grade levels, and then meet with the head of school. It was an exhausting day, but a fun one. I heard back with in an offer in 30 days.
