Interview
The interview process was pretty lax, more of a conversation than a technical interview, even in the actual technical interview.
The issue I had was that they couldn't keep to their own interview schedule.
The first interview was fine. I like to think I nailed it. A week later was the next; Again, nailed it.
A week and a half later; HR screen where we talked numbers. I thought the next step was an offer. Nope. Another interview request, this time with some engineers from the team. At this point it had been a month from my initial interview.
After that, I would check in on the status of my process occasionally. Deadlines they promised updates passed. A month of no answers go by.
During this wait period, my faith in the company wanes. A place that says the team is too busy to make a decision is not a place I want to work.
After some pressure and way too much patience on my end, I get a rejection email. I'm free.

Interview
Initial interview call to informally discuss the position. Followed up by 2x one hour calls, each containing 3 different people across various different departments. Took around a week to hear back after the interview. Would say this was a more intense interview, with more difficult questions than other studios I'd interviewed for the same role.

I meet with two senior writers and narrative designers via Zoom. We discussed games and the writing process. Afterward, I was given a generic test loosely around the premise of the video game.
