The interviewers were very kind and personal. It took on the form of a freewheeling conversation and they set me at ease. I had the impression that even if I didn't progress (which I didn't), I could reach out to them regardless and they had my best interests at heart. They asked follow up questions and were genuinely interested in what I said, not obviously looking for a correct answer
I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Atlantic (New York, NY) in May 2020
Interview
HR was great. Interview was good. Transparent. No random jumping through hoops - a few tests and one interview. Even though I didn't land a job, the experience was pleasant - which is not something a lot of job seekers can say.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you resolved a problem before it occurred?
Standard interview questions for a journalism graduate. The role was contract only, so nothing too in-depth since I wouldn't be there for long. Unfortunately, they had a layoff not long after, so there was no point in trying to get a full-time role.
