I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Boring Company
Interview
The interviewer just asks a bunch of random questions related to Mechanics of Materials that he has memorized the answers to. It felt more like taking an engineering exam rather than an interview, and it didn't feel sincere. I'm glad I wasn't offered a position, because after reading all the reviews on Reddit and Glassdoor, it felt like a super toxic company to work for. Good riddance.
4 levels of interview not including the call with HR where they are given a questionnaire and you go to the first round if you answer at least 7 out of 10 questions right asked by the HR
I applied online. I interviewed at The Boring Company (Bastrop, TX) in Sept 2025
Interview
Started with a recruiter call, which was standard (background, HR details, etc), and then never heard from them again. Did not respond to emails or follow-ups after asking for availability for interview with hiring manager.
