      Assistant Interview

      4 Jan 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at The Breakers

      Interview

I have a friend of 10 years working at the Breakers, who said that I could put their name on the application. Understandably, the Breakers gets a lot of applications and they would not contact you without an on-site reference. I got an email invite a few weeks after putting in my application, where I was given a link to select a date/time for my interview. Impersonal, but admittedly this is a lot more convenient than playing phone tag with an HR coordinator and then not being able to figure out the best time. The HR building is off property, next to the Flagler museum. The interview itself was very basic. However, what bugged me is that when I arrived, everyone that I dealt with from that point forward seemed to not care that I was even there, like I was wasting their time. I don't think I would have been happy here.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They were very average questions. Why would you want to work for the Breakers? Things like that
