Interview
I interviewed for the Head of Data and Insight role and unfortunately came away disappointed with the overall process.
The competency questions were fairly average and didn’t go particularly deep for a senior leadership role. Given the level of the position, I expected more rigorous discussion around strategic impact, stakeholder management, and measurable outcomes.
What caught me off guard was a surprise technical pop quiz mid-interview. While I’m fully supportive of technical assessment for data leadership roles, it felt unstructured and disconnected from the earlier conversation. There was no context provided, and it didn’t reflect the strategic scope expected at Head of level.
The most frustrating part, however, was the lack of follow-up. I was completely ghosted. No feedback, no update, and no closure. For a senior-level position, that level of communication falls short of professional standards.
Overall, the process lacked structure, alignment, and professional courtesy.
Senior candidates invest significant time preparing for interviews, and basic communication should be a given.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at The Brooke (Raebareli) in Oct 2019
Interview
Good process of Interview and selection process includes written and interview both. All the candidates were provided opportunity to perform in interview. Interview for different positions were conducted and based on performance candidates were selected
Horrible! It felt more like an interrogation than an interview and the CEO's body language was quite dismissive. I had an interview at another company before this one with The Brooke and their approach was not interrogation or grilling, they allowed me to be myself and so was able to see the true me. They also took an interest in me and my work which The Brooke did non of. Firing cliche questions at you where even YouTube can tell you the cliche answers is not the best way to find the right candidate! Let candiates shine! Absolute honesty, they missed out so much of me because they couldn't be bothered to look, and I wouldn't want to work with people like that anyway.
