Interview
Recruiter call into coding interview about asynchronous javascript.
The question is pretty tricky as its one of those JS quiz like questions. It's either you know it or you don't.
The question is implement a class Queue that accepts 2 methods.
Add and start.
Add will accept an array of jobs that are promises.
Start will then start those jobs given a concurrency of 10. The requirements is to always have a concurrency of 10 at all times.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Farmer's Dog (New York, NY) in Oct 2025
Interview
The interview process was pleasant and accommodating. Responses were quick and so were follow ups to interviews. I never felt like I was being asked trick or gotcha questions. The behavioral segment I had in-office which was pleasant, and I had a pair programming exercise which was collaborative and dog-themed.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Implement an algorithm for a "dog hotel" when a list of dates are ingested and available rooms are returned based on previous check-in and check-out dates provide.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Farmer's Dog in Sept 2024
Interview
Multiple rounds - tech recruiter, manager, tech challenge, system architecture challenge. Everyone was very kind, the interview process took about 3 weeks total. Tech challenge was a bit more challenging than other companies, more of an in depth multifaceted task as opposed to a leet code challenge. Overall positive experience.
