Question 1
How do you justify changing your field of study and how will you cope?
I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Johns Hopkins University in Jan 2023
Interview
The interview was pretty chill. I was asked about my previous work - what problem did I solve, how did I solve and what were the results? Then we discussed my work at JHU and how I can contribute.
Excellent! Everyone was very helpful and the researchers I met with were incredible. The process was very organized. Graduate students and principal investigators were welcoming.
Principal investigators discussed their research while I was being interviewed, which was very exciting. My interviews were conducted virtually because, unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend the in-person interview

Question 1
What was a recent paper you read and discussed during one of your lab meetings?
There is no interview required. The admission officers just reviewed your resume, statement of purpose, transcripts, test scores. I received an offer letter about 2 months after applying. This is just for the 30 word minimum.
