I applied online. I interviewed at The Ohio State University (Phoenix, AZ) in Feb 2009
Interview
I found a professor's research webpage. His interests aligned with mine and so I send him my resume. I was at a different city at the time into which the Professor happened to fly in the same month. We arranged an interview at the Starbucks of an airport.
