I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Publisher Desk
Interview
First had a screening interview, then was scheduled for a coding test and second round with technical interview. Questions were fairly easy relating to Wordpress and PHP, and any other technologies used. Was asked what salary I was looking for, when I’d be able to start, etc. Did not ever hear back and ignored my emails after
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Publisher Desk in Dec 2023
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter beginning of January 2024. The process consisted of 4 interviews including initial recruiter screening, 1:1 interview, take home assignment code panel review and one additional 1:1 (last interview was end of January).
Aside from the excess interviews, I spent quite a few hours on their code assignment. Three weeks since the last interview, and it has been nothing but radio silence. I've sent follow up emails to all three members I interviewed with for updates to ultimately end up being ignored.
At the very least, have a little decency for your future candidates and don't ghost them. The least you can do is provide them with an update, whether they get the position or not.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Publisher Desk (New York, NY) in Jan 2019
Interview
I went in for an in person interview through a recruiting agency. First the 2 other developers interviewed me, going over my experience and talking shop, they seemed nervous, but nice. Then the hiring manager asked me some questions, then brought in one of the owners to speak with me, he was very smart and down to earth. The next day the recruiter tells me they gave an offer to someone else.
