Question 1
The basic questions around my design portfolio, my ways of working. The usual. Spoke to some really nice people.

Interview
This looked like a really good company to work for, but unfortunately the interview process is a bit flawed. For this position they asked all candidates to complete an assignment before having an initial conversation, which I found odd but a good way to learn about the company.
I then had a video interview which I believe went very very well. However a few days after the interview someone (not the interviewer) emailed a rejection alongside some feedback that did not coincide with how the interview went.
Overall, my feedback would be:
1) it would be nice if the interviewer themselves send feedback or was CC’d in so the candidate feels more confident that the feedback coincides with how the interview actually went
2) assignments should really come after the initial screening or 1st interview because it saves the candidate a lot of wasted time if you don’t feel they’re a good fit for the company or because of experience.
