I applied online. I interviewed at Trackers Earth (Portland, OR) in Apr 2022
Interview
Structurally, it was like speed interviewing; in that all of the supervisors sat in a big circle and the interviewees sat across from them and rotated till we had spent 5 mins interviewing with each supervisor. It was definitely an unexpected/unorthodox format. Because of the fast pace, you didn't feel to pressed by any individual interviewer.

Question 1
The asked me about my experience in managing large groups of children, and specifically in respect to outdoor education.
Very friendly, asked about past experience and was mostly an opportunity to get questions asked and determine if it was a mutual fit. Discussed ability and experience in managing kids.

Question 1
What are your past experiences like in managing large groups of kids?
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Trackers Earth (Portland, OR) in Dec 2021
Interview
The interview process was very unprofessional. There were 4 of us being interviewed and they had each of us sit in the corners of a gym and put a timer on (I think for 3 minutes or so) and had 2-3 employees ask us questions then when the timer went off they moved on to another interviewee. The job posting was also unclear and I did not find out until I was at the interview that the position did not start for months when I was led to believe it was immediately or relatively soon. They also offered less compensation than what was stated on the job posting by a significant amount.
