      Applied 12/8 had a recruiter screen 12/15 and was moved to VP interview 12/17. Fairly quick with the process. My conversation with Rossel was fine, it more so sounded very scripted and like she didn’t want to be conversational. My next interview was with Eric the VP of People. During our 30min video interview he didn’t look me in the eye once! He stared at the ceiling, the wall, his computer but never at me. Although I did not get chosen to move forward I would’ve declined anyway because I feel the company culture is not great.

      recruiter set up a 20 min call recruiter reached out quickly to schedule the call I could tell a lack of experience - from the recruiter. No questions were asked on projects and sourcing methods. It is ok to tell a candidate you are not moving forward during the phone conversation if something is not aligned (and it gives candidates the opportunity to either validate or invalidate the concern) instead of saying "I will let you know at the end of the day" only to not reach out. If you do not have an update then commit to the timeline you gave to the candidate and tell them you will reach back out in X days instead of keeping them in the dark especially during COVID... recruiters are brand ambassadors and it is essential in a service-based business to put your candidates first and keep up with your promises.
