I applied online. The process took over a month and counting. I interviewed at Truist (Charlotte, NC) in Jun, 2021 Applied on the company website in the beginning of June for Financial Crimes Investigator II position and was contacted by a recruiter via e-mail to do a video on demand interview on June 5, 2021 which I completed on June 7th. On June 21 was selected for a video interview with Team-lead for June 24th which was a very solid interview. I was told that a decision made within 2 weeks. After receiving no response and website stating I was under consideration I followed up with the recruiter on July 14, 2021 and was informed me that the manager was still wrapping up interviews and there would be official feedback by the end of next week July 23, 2021. Within 2 weeks, after receiving no I followed up with another recruiter on July 29, 2021. The timeframe is a complete disregard for a candidate’s time, sets a terrible example for a company so large and looks bad on leadership. My excitement and enthusiasm was deflated and I stated interviewing elsewhere during the meantime. The outcome was decided to moved forwarded with an internal candidate almost two months later.
