The initial interview was done over the phone. I don't like to say it was "informal". It was definitely a relaxed, but professional conversation where we were able to discuss the role I was in at the time, as well as my experience, my education and background, and the kind of position I was looking for. It was nice to have a direct and clear conversation without it feeling like a stressful interview. Chris also told me about his background and experience, and the company's history. After being offered a position to apply for, I went for an in-person interview to meet with the client.
