Interview process was fine. First is a call with HR then you move on to 2 back to back interviews one which is done by an associate and is behavioral and then the next is a case study with a manager. The manager I had was pretty rude and did not seem happy to be there. The vibes were horrible....
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked general behavior questions and then questions (if I can remember) like how I analyze large amounts of data, why consulting, etc
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Tyton Partners (New York, NY) in Apr 2025
Interview
The first stage was very relaxed and mostly served as an opportunity to get to know the interviewer. The second stage was a bit more involved, and I met with three different members of the team. The final round was much more intense. I was invited to the office in person, and interestingly, another candidate was being interviewed in the room next to me on the same day. That round was filled with technical questions that were not especially difficult but felt very random and caught me off guard. One interviewer asked about lease liabilities on the balance sheet, and another asked me to do a back of the envelope buyout calculation in my head on the spot. Maybe I was unprepared, but based on the earlier rounds, I expected the final interview to be less technical.

Question 1
Describe where a lease would show up on the 3 financial statements. Walk me through how you would structure a buy-out of the case study company.
Great experience. Everyone was super friendly throughout the process. There was an initial recorded video interview phase where they asked a few behavioral questions. During the actual interview stage, there were two rounds and each had a behavioral portion and a case. The cases were standard.
