I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at UGL Services (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2011
Interview
Once i was able to get a hold of someone the employees i met with were good. Very corporate although. Tried very hard to fit employees into a box. Management very hard time to make a decision and pay is structured on last 3 years of w-2's . Lots of confidentiality and employment agreements not too onerous.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at UGL Services (Newton, MA)
Interview
Basically come in and shoot the breeze for an hour. If you get interviewed by Caroline B. you'll get the job, don't worry. She is an idiot, you are smarter than her. She won't even ask about your background/work history. She didn't for me anyway, which I found to be staggeringly idiotic. I'm sure you could make your entire background up as it will not be a subject of conversation in the interview. I doubt they do background checks FYI.
