I interviewed with UK Biobank last week and had the most positive experience, I think I've ever had. It was incredibly efficient and smooth. Both Tommy and Kate were warm, professional, and easy to talk to throughout. My first step was a phone interview with Tommy, who clearly explained the role and asked some questions in a very relaxed way. It made it much easier to give good answers. I was invited to an in-person interview within a few days, and the offer followed shortly after that. The whole process took less than a week, which was impressive. The interview included a presentation, and it felt like the focus was on whether I could actually do the job, rather than trying to catch me out with tricky questions. That made a big difference. It felt like a genuine, human process. In a time when many companies rely heavily on AI or impersonal processes, this really stood out for me. The experience felt personal and respectful from start to finish. Really impressed again. Although the role wasn't quite right for me in the end, I came away with a very positive impression and would definitely be interested in opportunities with UK Biobank in the future. Thank you!
