The overall application process was probably one of the most pleasant ones I have gone through. I initially met a Kronos recruiter at my college's careers fair and his friendliness and enthusiasm about the company and all the roles available encouraged me to apply. After applying online, I had a 20 min screening phone interview with the same recruiter which was mostly behavioral and motivational. From there, I had another phone interview with a senior analyst who would be my direct supervisor. This interview mainly consisted of talking about why I wanted to work in that specific function of the business, how my experience would help me add value, and what I wanted to get out of it. One of the highlights of this interview is that I truly felt like my interviewer wanted to make sure that I got the best out of the internship and explicitly said that I could have the chance to choose what to focus on and to drive my own projects. Finally, I had an on-site interview in which consisted of 3 back-to-back interviews with my supervisor-to-be, a senior manager, and a senior director. All of these interviews were conversational and focused on my motivations for the internship and then how they could tailor the internship to my interests and learning goals. This interview was very distinctive from any other I have ever had as it truly came through that the company wanted the best for me and was not at all looking for a workhorse summer intern but someone whom they could teach and help develop. The famous Kronos work culture of collaboration and innovation definitely came through in these interviews and after going through this process, I am convinced that I made the right choice to apply and accept my offer to work at Kronos this summer.
