I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at US Air Force (Hayward, CA) in Sept 2012
Interview
no interview needed to join the air force. as long as you have your life straight and get a good score on the ASVAB, you're good. learn to take orders from leadership and dont be sheep when you become an NCO like most of the people do.
Negative experience
Average interview

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at US Air Force (Corpus Christi, TX)
Interview
Your recruiter has a series of questions he/she will ask you. Everything from school, hobbies, to known friends of criminal records. You will have to take the ASVAB test which will limit you to what jobs you may apply for.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at US Air Force (Spokane, WA)
Interview
Get a decent score on the ASVAB and pass a physical and a background check, and you're in. Select what you'd like to do, based on what your ASVAB score qualifies you for, and then apply for a date to leave for Basic Training. A lot of paperwork is involved, but there's nothing in the interview process to be concerned about.
