You walk into a recruiting station and they fill your head with hopes and dreams of killing terrorist and deploying just so you can find out that the contract you signed keeps you as far away from the fight as possible. they send you to MEPS and you get touched by an old doctor and you get yelled at then you're in.

Walk in, see if you are eligible, swear in and you're on your way to bigger and greater things. They set you up not only while you are in, but even after you get out. Take advantage of Tuition Assistance while you are in so that later you won't have to use all of your GI Bill.
