I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Washington, DC) in Jan 2015
Interview
Long process (so be ready). In the interview they ask regular questions for basis requirements of the position. The difference was they asked me about "have I been in this type of work before?". I did let them know I have not. the overall experience was new to me but if you keep you mind focused on the interview and not anything else during you should be fine. Be ready for a driving test at the very end of the hiring process. Its very easy to complete.

Interview
I didn't receive an actual interview. I applied for the position, and there was a questionnaire after I filled out the application. I received what I believed to be a pretty low score, but I got a job offer about a month later. I reported to get fingerprinted and waited to get a start date.
