I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at US Residential (Fresno, CA) in Jul 2014
Interview
I found the interview to be very easy and quickly done. I submitted my resume late in the evening and received a phone call early in the am the very next day. The person conducting the interview was very accommodating and willing to wait until the end of the day to meet with me even when he had a very long drive back to Sacramento.
Other District Manager interview reviews for US Residential
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at US Residential in Feb 2015
Interview
I was given a number by a friend for a hiring manager for a DM role. Though I was an unsolicited call, the hiring manager actually took my call immediately and did some pre-screening. Most hiring managers will make an appointment, or not even answer unsolicited calls. I sent my resume and got an immediate thank you and we will be in touch. From then on it took quite a while, but that was because it was a new position with multiple other things pending before a decision could be made. I had a total of three interviews, which is a lot to me, but I understand it was an important decision.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Both interviewers were really asking questions to get to know the kind of person I was. I didn't get any technical questions, it was more deciding if we were on the same personality wave length. As they say, you can teach skills, you can't train a personality. It was a tough interview, but because I felt like I was interviewing as a person, not just an employee.
