Interview
Thanks to COVID, we met over Zoom after I received an email asking to schedule an interview with me within days of submitting my application. My interviewer explained the job to me first before asking her questions.

Among other questions, my interviewer asked me to prove that I could put out the required articles per week / day and asked what other questions I had about the company.
The interview was normal questions about your previous experience and qualifications. There was only one interview before the job offer. There was also a chance to ask them questions to see if it’s a good fit.

Interview
It was a comprehensive interview process, with a number of staffers, and gave a good introduction to the team the interviewee would be working with. It created a sense of familiarity with the newsroom at the time, although processes have likely changed.
Great! Conducted via Zoom, the interview process iwas smooth, respectful and efficient. Applicants had the chance to ask HR questions as well as the next step of the hiring process.
